Bob Farrell Braggot release party @ Sidebar noon to 5 pm.
Bob Farrell loved to make braggots, which is half mead and half ale bended together and aged for about 1 year.
Our version is made with Willamette Valley honey from Buckwheat and Fireweed wildflowers. We
brewed the mead inconjuntion with Bob and then he quickly lost a battle with cancer and passed on in the Spring of 08. We finished the project in the fall of o8 and now feel like the braggot has aged enough to serve. I think Bob would be proud. A portion of the proceds goes to the Oregon Brew Crew and a Portion will go to Bob’s family to help pay medical costs.
Available in 22oz bottles for $9.00 and on tap in the Sidebar!

Oregon Brewers Festival
FOG at OBF
Lompoc Brewing is sending it’s “hopular” summer IPA, Flower of the Gods (akaFOG), to the 2009
Oregon Brewers Festival. It’s brewed with Simcoe and Tettnager hops, and is light golden in color.
At a very drinkable 6% alcohol and about 62 IBU, FOG is a perfect beer for July. This is the
third year that we have made FOG and it has sold out quickly in thepast. See you at the Festival!
